What to include in your message.
The faster we understand the job, the faster a real number comes back. A message with these three things usually gets priced without a round trip of questions:
- The property address
- A rough size, in feet or a guess at square footage
- Photos of the area, if you have them on your phone
Photos help most on anything with a slope, a wall, or a drainage problem, since Joel can see what the water is doing before he ever drives out. For most jobs he still walks the property before the number is final, but a good message gets that visit scheduled faster, and it means fewer questions get bounced back and forth before a real number lands in your inbox.
One thing to call instead of email: storm branch removal, tree work, and badly overgrown lawns. Those are handled as emergency work and move faster over the phone than through a form, since Joel needs to hear how urgent it is and get a crew scheduled the same day if the situation calls for it.

Joel prices with room built in on purpose. An eight-hour job often gets quoted at ten hours, so a surprise underground does not turn into a surprise on the bill. When the job comes in under, we bill the lower number.
A deposit, yes. Financing, no.
Jobs are split 50% down to start and 50% due on completion. Autana does not offer financing, and we would rather say that plainly than send you through an application. The deposit is what buys material and holds your slot on the schedule.
